Summer Project – Leeds Beckett Graphic Arts & Design
Summer 2019 // University Year Two
For my new Graphic Arts & Design course I was tasked with making a square artwork, incorporating both text and imagery, that relates to many aspects of my life; such as how my friends and associates interact with each other, the culture I've been brought up in, and my strongest technical skill. My response centres around the current social and political climate in the UK. Each work displays an inequality brought about by austerity and the choices of our government over the last nine years.
I decided to expand the brief after the hand-in by making the posters into a larger campaign that better satisfies the 'would be in your portfolio at an interview for your dream job' criteria of the brief.
